About me 

The "Yellow Dwarf" - Ning Sun

What makes a great place to work? It's the job we do, plus the people we do it together with. Let me properly introduce myself. 

Like every journeying star, I have journeyed 1/3 of the globe to be in the Netherlands. Coming from an Asian background, it surely didn't feel comfortable at the beginning. Still, the sense of settlement came after a stretch of years, with ups and downs. And here I am - going forward in this journey where life is leading me to. 

A good thing of being cross-cultural is the opportunity of seeing things from different perspectives, and then choose which philosophies to stick with. Such things include work-ethic, lifestyle, politics, religion, education, environment, what weather, what food, etc. At this point I can go on, but the most relevant here is what I value while being on the work floor: 

• hard-working, passionate to deliver good work
• ownership, being responsible for what's taken
  
• self-reflective, learning from all the goods and bads
• team-working, able to do and encourage collaboration
  
• being kindly honest, confrontational if necessary
• thriving to help others reach their potential
